Gavi is a global Vaccine Alliance bringing together public and private sectors with the shared goal of creating equal access to new and underused vaccines for children living in the world’s poorest countries. The Alliance brings together governments in developing and industrialized countries, established and emerging vaccine manufacturers, NGOs, research institutes, and multilateral organizations to work towards Gavi’s mission of saving children’s lives and protecting people’s health by increasing access to immunization. Also, Gavi works to improve markets for vaccines and other immunization produces. It provides different types of vaccines to eligible countries and supports their immunization activities by strengthening health and immunization systems. The Alliance supports countries to ensure that they can independently sustain high immunization coverage and ensure equal access to life-saving vaccines.
The country hub has a compilation of resources specifically for Gavi-eligible and graduating countries, to support the implementation of effective, evidence-based immunization programs. The news and resources link has latest information, audio-visuals, Gavi documents, publications and events.
