HEAT is a radical program launched by The Open University to reach and help train frontline healthcare workers across sub-Saharan Africa. The modules cover a wide range of subjects including: child and maternal health; immunization; nutrition; adolescent and youth reproductive health; antenatal care; communicable diseases; health education, advocacy and community mobilization; health management, ethics & research; hygiene and environmental health; non-communicable diseases; health management ethics and research; and more. Ethiopian HEAT modules are also available.
