IHPP aims to strengthen health policy and health systems as well as human resource.  It conducts  research on the  health priorities related to health systems and policy in Thailand. The program  improves the health care systems through generating knowledge and reliable evidence to the public and policy makers. Furthermore, the IHPP  conducts policy relevant research in the areas of health care financing, economic evaluation, public health insurance, and health policy analysis.  Research programs of IHPP focus on burden of disease, capacity building on UHC, food and nutrition policy for health promotion, health promotion policy research and non-communicable diseases.
