IPHU aims to contribute to ‘health for all’ by strengthening people’s health movements around the globe, by organizing and resourcing learning, sharing and planning opportunities for people’s health activists, particularly from third world countries. The IPHU organizes short courses for health activists and presents a range of learning opportunities. The University sponsors research into the barriers to ‘Health for All’ and strategies to support the people’s struggle for health. IPHU’s projects focus on: community action for health; health as a human right; intellectual property reform and revitalization of primary health care.
A collection of materials are available from the resource page . The Resource of the International People’s Health University might be a good starting point for your research on primary health care and UHC.
