MSF is an international, medical humanitarian organization that delivers emergency aid to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics, natural disasters and exclusion from healthcare. MSF is a worldwide movement of 21 sections, 24 associations and various other offices. They are bound together by MSF International, based in Geneva, which provides coordination, information and support to the MSF Movement. MSF works on programs in 71 countries worldwide and offers basic healthcare, fight epidemics, rehabilitate and run hospitals and clinics, carry out vaccination campaigns, operate nutrition centers, and provide mental healthcare. Its activities expand to the treatment of injuries and disease, maternal care, sanitation systems, supplying drinking water, and distributing relief to assist survival.
