Doctors with Africa CUAMM is a non-profit organization focused on healthcare. CUAMM works to protect and improve the wellbeing and health of vulnerable communities in seven Sub-Sahara African countries: Angola, Ethiopia, Mozambique, Sierra Leone, South Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, within a framework of social inclusion. CUAMM cooperates with Africa in hospitals, small health centers, villages and universities, where it works, builds and grows alongside the local people. Program interventions include: building health facilities; supporting HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, and malaria patients; capacity-building and training of doctors, nurses, midwives and other health providers.
CUAMM’s published research section has materials published in international scientific journals and ongoing studies in the African countries. The topics include maternal and child health, infectious and tropical diseases, universal coverage and equity, nutrition and chronic diseases.
