NIMR is a parastatal organization under the Ministry of Health- Tanzania. The Institute has a central role in coordination, monitoring and promotion of health research and provides a linkage between health research generators and users. NIMR conducts research in health systems and policy and traditional medicine. One of the Institute’s priorities is to provide scientific evidence that will improve health outcomes and services to the Government of Tanzania and its stakeholders worldwide.
