OER Africa aims to harness OER practices in ways that resolve some of the pedagogical challenges facing African higher education institutions. OER Africa supports the emergence of vibrant and sustainable African education systems to build and sustain African societies and economies through free and open development and sharing of common intellectual capital. The Health OER has courseware, research and policies in topics including: occupational health; environmental health; sexually transmitted diseases; primary newborn care; primary maternal care; adult HIV; childhood TB; health workforce; and health promotion.
