Open Michigan enables the University of Michigan to make its research, teaching and creative work available with the aim of preventing disease and promoting the health of populations worldwide. It has open educational resources, data, and publications. Courses available include: systematic reviews & meta-analyses; health care financing; and health disparities. The Global Health resources have the 1000+ OBGYN Project and the African Health OER Network resources. The project aims to improve maternal and neonatal health in Sub-Saharan Africa through training and retaining obstetricians and gynecologists to serve their communities. In addition, the Health series administration have courses in public & community health; child healthcare; childhood TB; community mental health; epidemiology; MNCH; and occupational health. The leadership for health professionals section has modules in health management, managing health care, and managing HR for health.
