SEARCH provides healthcare to the rural and poor people in Gadchiroli district and empowers the communities to take care of their own health. The Society conducts research to shape the local, national and global health policies. In Gadchiroli, poverty, illiteracy and remoteness add to the huge health care challenges. Thus, SEARCH makes affordable health care available locally to everyone and ultimately empowers the people to take care of their own health. The organization works together with the community to find relevant solutions to rural health problems.
