 Program/Project / by Nason Bimbe / 610 views

SHOPS PLUS is USAID’s flagship initiative in private sector health. The project seeks to harness the full potential of the private sector and catalyzes public-private engagement to improve health outcomes in family planning, HIV, child health, and other health areas. SHOPS support the achievement of US government priorities, including ending preventable child and maternal deaths, an AIDS-free generation, and FP2020. SHOPS PLUS strives to improve the equity and quality of the total health system to accelerate progress toward universal health coverage. The resource center section has information in health areas (child health, FP, HIV), technical areas (assessments, corporate engagement, health financing, networks and franchising; pharmaceutical partnerships and social marketing, policy and stewardship, provider access to finance, provider quality), innovation (digital health and social enterprise) as well as research and evaluation.
