WACI Health is an African regional advocacy organization committed to creating political will to end life-threatening epidemics and improve health for all in Africa by influencing political priorities through an effective, evidence-driven Pan-African civil society voice and action. Strategic approaches of WACI are policy and advocacy, civil society capacity strengthening and civil society mobilization. The areas of focus include: assessment of the HIV biomedical prevention research field in Africa and forum; HVAD campaign; supporting youth engagement on HIV prevention research linking with in-country networks and advocates; and advocacy to increase domestic financing for HIV research.
