WHAE aims to increase the active participation of under-privileged women within Ethiopia’s development process to create healthy individuals and healthy community. The program focuses on women’s health and economic empowerment.  WHAE establishes local units which are groups of fifty women working towards their health and that of their communities.  Also, the charityeconomically empowers the local unit members by establishing group businesses. WHAE works in all regions of Ethiopia.
