The Britain Nepal Medical Trust (BMNT) was established by a group of young doctors whose ambition was to do something of value in a country where their medical skills were required. The charity supports communities to improve their health status, improve access to health services and alleviate poverty. BNMT works with local organizations to help communities to improve health knowledge and to avoid risk of illness, both infectious disease and lifestyle conditions. Also, the charity develops skills and expertise which increase family income.
