Ethiopia has made significant progress in improving health outcomes through the Health Extension Program. The Program has been launched in 2003 and scaled up in 2005. Watch these multimedia to learn about the contributions of over 40,000 health extension workers, who have been deployed to the agrarian, pastoralist, and urban areas across the country, to provide an essential package of promotive, preventive, curative, and curative health services to communities.
