Tearfund is a charity that partners with churches in more than 50 of the world’s poorest countries. The charity tackles poverty and injustice through sustainable development, by responding to disasters and challenging injustice. Tearfund has been working in Ethiopia since the 1970s. It has supported the establishment and development of community self-help groups in the country to fighting poverty. Tearfund has contributed to transform lives and livelihoods of families and has ensured access to clean water, proper sanitation and hygiene.
