IIfPHC-E’s philosophy of unity and joint action is exemplified through its work with donors and partners. IIfPHC-E counts on the support of a large network of partners who help fund our activities, implement the IIfPHC-E programme, or offer their knowledge and expertise to support our work. Our work is made possible through the generous contributions of a growing number of donors and partners including governments, multilateral institutions, intergovernmental and non-governmental organisations, international conventions, foundations, companies and individuals.
Ethiopia Federal Ministry of Health
To better the health of Ethiopian citizens, Federal ministry of health of Ethiopia (FMOH) strives to improve access to the primary health care service through high quality, affordable, resilient and responsive measures to meet the local needs. By working together with the FMOH in designing and evaluating primary health care interventions and programs, IIfPHC-E help them increase their capacity of leading and managing PHC systems. Internationally, together with FMOH, IIfPHC-E plays a key role in improving the health of underserved population by serving as a model and sharing best experiences from Ethiopia and disseminating lesson learned to an international audience.Read more
Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health
The Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health is part of Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland, United States. JHSPH is dedicated to the improvement of health through discovery, dissemination, and translation of knowledge and the education of a diverse global community of research scientists and public health professionals. JHSPH supports IIfPHC-E with long-term planning of Institute operations, provides leadership for curriculum development and teaching of the courses, participates in the development of a health systems/implementation research agenda, and helps secure an operational budget trough grant research and application.Read more
Yale GHLI generates cutting-edge research and high-impact educational programs in management, leadership and organizational performance. The Yale Global Health Leadership Institute (GHLI) partners with the Federal Ministry of Health (FMOH) to strengthen leadership, management, and organizational performance across the health system, including within ministry offices and agencies, hospitals, and the primary health care system. In collaboration with IIfPHC-E, Yale GHLI develops capacity of PHC leadership at different levels and carries out needs-based primary health care management interventions.Read more
